Andhra Pradesh Intensifies Efforts Against Diarrhoea Outbreak
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu ordered immediate action for better treatment of diarrhoea patients in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, urging officials to conduct surveys and investigate causes. With one death reported, authorities are providing drinking water and deploying personnel to mitigate the outbreak.

In response to an outbreak of diarrhoea in Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has called for heightened treatment efforts and thorough investigation into the disease's spread.
The directive includes a door-to-door survey of cases in Santhabommali mandal, alongside a study of affected neighboring areas. Nine individuals have been hospitalized, and one elderly man has succumbed to related complications.
As immediate relief, authorities are supplying clean water via tankers, and have mobilized Panchayat and medical staff for the survey, aiming to curb the outbreak's impact.
