In a state of intoxication, the group verbally abused doctors, assaulted security staff, and vandalized hospital equipment.

The incident occurred around 2.30 am on Tuesday when the woman, accompanied by three attendants, sought medical attention for injuries. Tensions escalated when doctors initiated the medico-legal process for injury cases, leading to abusive exchanges and physical altercations. The group damaged significant hospital property, including computers and WiFi devices.

The disruption prompted an immediate police response, restoring order swiftly. Hospital operations were momentarily interrupted as a result of the damage. Legal action is underway under the Delhi Medicare Service Personnel and Medicare Service Institutions (Prevention of Violence and Damage to Property) Act, 2008, aimed at safeguarding healthcare facilities and workers.
