This comprehensive plan under the National Blood Transfusion Council includes procuring essential supplies such as blood bags and testing kits, deploying mobile collection vans, and expanding government blood component separation units. Training staff members forms a critical part of the initiative, aiming to ensure efficient operations at these centers.

Further emphasizing its leadership in blood services, Haryana secured top accolades for blood donation excellence from the Centre for two consecutive years. The state intends to continue its efforts by upgrading facilities, increasing allowances for donors, and encouraging CSR support from corporate bodies.
