The family, living in the Ganduri village, reportedly bought 'Chamcham' sweets from a local shop the night before the incident. The children, aged between 2 and 16, showed alarming symptoms like vomiting, anxiety, and foaming at the mouth on consuming the sweets, prompting immediate medical attention.

Five children were transferred to a higher medical facility after initial treatment at the District Civil Hospital. Authorities are awaiting an official complaint from the family before taking further legal action. Medical legal reports have been prepared as the investigation continues.
