The circular underscores the implementation of cooling facilities across public domains, including offices and markets, and highlights the distribution of Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) kits particularly for frontline workers.
Moreover, public and animal water facilities, along with adjusted working hours for sanitation staff, are among key measures devised under the Heat Wave Action Plan-2026, aiming to shield both people and animals from the grueling heat conditions.
