Water Woes: Students Fall Ill in Rajasthan School
Thirteen students from a Rajasthan government school were hospitalized after experiencing allergic reactions allegedly caused by water from the school's tank. The students were initially attended to at a local hospital before being referred to Barmer Medical College. Officials are investigating the incident's exact cause.

Thirteen students from a government school in Barmer district, Rajasthan, have been hospitalized following suspected water contamination. The students, who were participating in a school activity, drank water from the tank at Government Senior Secondary School, Meghwalon ki Basti.
Shortly after, they experienced symptoms including itching and red rashes, prompting immediate medical attention. Initially treated at a local hospital in Sanawada, the students were later transferred to Barmer Medical College for further observation as their condition remained unaltered.
Additional District Collector Rajendra Singh confirmed that the children, who exhibited allergy-like symptoms, are now stable. A team of doctors is closely monitoring their progress as an investigation into the source of the illness is underway.
