Tamil Nadu's Innovative Help Desk Initiative for College-Bound Students
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin launched a help desk for Class 12 students to assist with college enrollment for 2026-27. The 'TSC-help desk' will support over 8 lakh students in selecting courses, securing jobs, and understanding government schemes. Experts will provide counselling, career guidance, and application assistance.

In a move aimed at smoothing the transition from school to higher education, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has inaugurated a dedicated help desk for Class 12 students planning college enrollments for the academic year 2026-27.
With Class 12 board exam results due on May 8, the 'TSC-help desk' promises to assist over 8 lakh students across every district. This initiative will not only aid students in selecting future courses and career paths but also help them navigate college application processes through expert guidance.
Furthermore, the help desk will actively inform students about careers in trending courses and expose them to government initiatives like 'Naan Mudhalvan'. The DMK's student wing secretary highlighted that experts on the desk will ensure students receive comprehensive counseling and have opportunities to participate in campus interviews, fostering a seamless educational progression.
