Historic Spiritual Display: Sacred Relics Unveiled in Leh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the inauguration of the 'Sacred Exposition of the Holy Relics of the Tathagata' in Leh on Buddha Purnima. This event is anticipated to enhance spiritual and cultural tourism in Ladakh, featuring ancient relics from the Piprahwa Stupa, Kapilavastu.

In a significant spiritual event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed immense delight over the inauguration of the 'Sacred Exposition of the Holy Relics of the Tathagata' in Leh. Held on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima, the exposition is expected to attract thousands of devotees and tourists to the region.

The Prime Minister emphasized the historical and spiritual importance of the artifacts, which are linked to the Piprahwa Stupa in Kapilavastu. As a traveling pilgrimage, the exposition allows remote communities in Ladakh to participate. It remains open in Leh until May 14th, after which it will move to Zanskar, expanding opportunities for public reverence.
