Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated a nationwide initiative offering free annual health check-ups for workers aged 40 and above, marking a significant step towards bolstering social security systems in India.

At the launch event at ESIC Medical College & Hospital in Delhi, Mandaviya stated that the initiative aligns with the government's commitment, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, to improve the dignity and welfare of the workforce. Key reforms under the new Labour Codes were also highlighted, which include equal wage provisions and extended maternity leave.

The launch highlights the substantial growth in social security coverage from 30 crore to 94 crore people over the last decade. The event, attended by various dignitaries, underscores the government’s dedication to addressing worker concerns with sensitivity and proactive measures.
