In Bengaluru, a fire at a private hospital in the early hours of Wednesday led to the evacuation of fourteen patients, some in critical care. Emergency services responded swiftly, ensuring the safety of all patients and staff, with no reported injuries.

The incident, which occurred at about 3.15 am at Aveksha Hospital on MS Palya Road, was contained after it is believed to have started from an electrical cable malfunction in the basement.
