In a disturbing incident in Beed district's Kaij tehsil, a rabid dog attacked 14 individuals, including a teacher working on census duties. The initial attack occurred in Lahuri village, sparking widespread fear.

Victims were rushed to the Kaij sub-district hospital before being transferred for further treatment. In response, concerned villagers cornered and fatally beat the dog to prevent further harm.
