The US plus-size model Ashley Graham has revealed that she completed her first pregnancy in such a confident and happily manner that now everyone woman wants to talk to her about life during pregnancy. She is expecting her first child with husband Justin Ervin by next month. Her revealations indicate that she lived her pregnacy as a jubiliant mother not as a patient (Mother,Not Patient).

In a recent tweet she said, “My husband supporting me always from day one. I am overwhelmed with so much joy and filled with such gratitude that we are doing this together,”. Recognizing her positive attitude during pregnancy, the Vogue magazine has provided her space on its ‘cover star’ in January edition. Disclosing her selection as ‘cover star’ the magazine tweeted, “playful, positive and never less than completely herself, Graham has already left her mark on modelling. Now she and her husband have another reason to celebrate.”

Revealing her secrets of happy life during pregnancy, Graham said, “I was gaining weight rapidly. And I felt alone. And the one piece of advice that my stylist, Jordan Foster, gave me was, make pregnant friends and none of my friends was in relationships, let alone pregnant. And now I have nine pregnant friends,” said Ashley Graham in a media interview. The experts believe that friendships with expectant mothers are highly helpful in boosting the confidence of a pregnant woman as it provides them a platform for prolonged positive communication and share their feelings. Besides, maternity leaves provide them a lot of time to share with. As anonymity in urban life is increasing, the scope of communication in personal and social life is decreasing. It is suggested that the expectant mothers make pregnant friends.

The 32-year-old model said, “Throughout my pregnancy so far I've gained 50lbs. And the best part is, I don't care, I have never felt better, and I am so thankful that my body and son have allowed me to be as mobile and flexible as I have been.” She further added, “I need my alone time, but when I do go out, I'm usually the life of the party. Now all anyone wants to talk to me about is being pregnant, there's just this camaraderie.” She further added, “I've always had control over my body--when everyone else wanted to dictate what it should be, I took full control over it--but I had this life inside of me saying, it’s not yours anymore, it's mine. And, you have to just succumb. And I felt like I didn't have anyone to talk to.”
