Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has inaugurated the 'Future Engineer Camp 2' at the Sharjah Archaeology Museum. The camp, set to run until July 17, aims to foster technical skills in youths aged 12 to 14, providing an educational yet enjoyable summer experience.

Activities and programmes at the camp are designed to make productive use of students' leisure time, honing their skills and sparking innovative thinking in the field of energy. Key sessions will introduce participants to sustainable and renewable energy sources, conservation techniques, and energy-use safety procedures. Rashid Al Marzouqi, Director of Corporate Communications, emphasized that training students at this age is crucial for nurturing environmentally responsible decision-making and productive use of time.

Among the camp's highlights are three workshops: 'How Does Electricity Reach Us?' detailing the stages of electricity production and generation; 'Water is the Backbone of Life,' exploring water production and distribution; and 'Conservation in Our Lives,' focusing on optimal water use methods. Al Marzouqi noted that SEWA aims to organize such specialized activities annually to enhance students' skills and knowledge, while spreading awareness about the importance of efficient energy and water use.
