Tesla CEO Elon Musk has extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for achieving the milestone of becoming the most followed world leader on the social media platform 'X'. Taking to 'X', Musk remarked, 'Congratulations PM @NarendraModi on being the most followed world leader!'

PM Modi's follower count surpassed 100 million, distinctly outpacing other world leaders such as US President Joe Biden with 38.1 million followers, Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at 11.2 million, and Pope Francis with 18.5 million.

The Prime Minister's influence stretches beyond politics; he also exceeds the follower counts of global celebrities like Taylor Swift (95.2 million), Lady Gaga (83.1 million), and Kim Kardashian (75.2 million). This influence extends to athletes like Virat Kohli (64.2 million), Neymar Jr (63.6 million), and LeBron James (52.9 million).

Among Indian politicians, PM Modi's numbers are unparalleled. His closest competitors include Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi with 26.4 million followers and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal with 27.5 million. Other notable figures include Akhilesh Yadav (19.9 million), Mamata Banerjee (7.4 million), Lalu Prasad Yadav (6.3 million), Tejashwi Yadav (5.2 million), and Sharad Pawar with 2.9 million followers.

In the past three years, Modi's following has surged by approximately 30 million users. His influence spans across YouTube and Instagram, where he boasts nearly 25 million subscribers and over 91 million followers, respectively.
