A Saurya Airlines aircraft crashed during take-off at Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday, according to The Himalayan Times. The incident involved a flight scheduled to leave for Pokhara from Kathmandu.
The Himalayan Times reported, citing Gyanendra Bhul, Information Officer at the Tribhuvan International Airport, that only the airline's technical staff were on board at the time of the crash. Reports indicate that 19 people were aboard the aircraft. Further details on the crash are still awaited.
