UAE's Largest Aid Ship to Gaza Arrives at Arish Port

The fourth UAE aid ship, the largest in terms of cargo, reaches Arish port en route to Gaza. This initiative, part of Operation 'Chivalrous Knight 3,' aims to provide significant relief to Palestinians amidst ongoing hardships, carrying extensive food, health supplies, and other essentials.

Abu Dhabi [UAE], July 28 (ANI/WAM): The fourth UAE aid ship destined for Gaza docked at Egypt's Arish port on Thursday, in a coordinated effort with Egyptian authorities to deliver relief via the Rafah crossing. Departing from Fujairah on July 8, this mission is part of Operation 'Chivalrous Knight 3,' an initiative by the UAE to assist Palestinians facing harsh conditions.

This vessel marks the eighth UAE aid shipment to Gaza and is notable for its substantial and diverse cargo. It carries 5,340 tonnes of relief, including 145,000 food packages totalling 4,134 tonnes, 145 tonnes of rice and flour, 110 tonnes of water, over 4,000 tents, 42,000 health kits for women and children, 18 tonnes of protective covers, and 1,600 relief bags.

Organized by the Emirates Red Crescent and two Al Nahyan foundations, the cargo was transported by 313 trucks. Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the ERC, emphasized the UAE's commitment to supporting Palestinians as per the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, further highlighting multiple initiatives such as setting up field hospitals, bakeries, and desalination plants to improve living conditions in Gaza.
