Israel's Ministry of the Negev, the Galilee and National Resilience, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Sports, has allocated a special budget of 20 million Shekels ($5.26 million) to support settlements located 5-9 km from the Lebanon border. This budget is aimed at enhancing security measures and providing cultural and sports activities for residents who have not been evacuated despite ongoing security concerns.

The ministry highlighted that, for the first time, non-evacuated settlements are receiving dedicated attention, a result of extensive coordination with the Home Front Command, the Northern Command, and local authorities. This initiative aims to provide essential security equipment and improve the quality of life for those in the line of fire.

Minister of Culture and Sports, Miki Zohar, remarked, "The residents of the Galilee are enduring difficult times and it's our duty to support them. The rapid budgeting is designed to help them maintain a relatively normal routine while ensuring their safety and providing necessary tools to each area based on specific needs."
