A 4.7 magnitude earthquake struck 63 km ESE of Andamarca, Peru early Tuesday morning, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The tremors were felt at exactly 01:42:59 (UTC+05:30).

The USGS confirmed that the quake originated at a depth of 35.0 km, with an epicenter located at 11.909°S latitude and 74.245°W longitude. So far, there are no reports of material damage.
