In a vibrant celebration of culture and learning, the first-ever Fujairah Children's Book Fair concluded on October 19, steering the vision of Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, towards fostering young minds. Hosted by the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority at Al Bayt Mitwahid Hall, the fair was a resounding success.
Between October 13 and 19, an eclectic mix of over 87 cultural activities unfolded, inclusive of panel discussions, literary events, and workshops. These sessions, scattered across key zones of Imagination, Adventure, Creativity, and Future, not only embodied the fair's theme 'Create the Future with Imagination' but also catered to a diverse audience of 10,000 visitors from across the UAE and beyond.
Nasser Al Yamahi, Executive Director of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, highlighted the fair's role in enriching Fujairah's cultural landscape. The event, undergirded by the Crown Prince's patronage, emerged as a cornerstone for intellectual discourse, actively supporting children and young authors while cementing Fujairah's status as a cultural hub.
