Key discussions prioritize enhanced security and defense cooperation, greater mobility opportunities for talent, deeper economic collaboration, the Green and Sustainable Development Partnership, and strategic technology partnerships.

Chancellor Scholz will also co-chair the 7th Intergovernmental Consultations (IGC), a comprehensive ministerial meeting from both nations to evaluate ongoing collaborations. Additionally, the visit features the 18th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business 2024, attracting significant participation from top business leaders, further enhancing trade relations. The visit concludes with the German naval frigate's arrival in Goa, accentuating Germany's Indo-Pacific engagement.
