Magnitude 5.5 earthquake strikes Aleneva, Alaska, USGS says

​A ‌magnitude 5.5 ​earthquake ‌struck the Aleneva, Alaska, region on ‌Tuesday, the ‌United States Geological Survey (USGS) ⁠said. The ​quake ⁠was at ⁠a depth ​of 87.3 km (54.2 ⁠miles), USGS ⁠said.

USGS ​initially reported ⁠the location as ⁠Kokhanok.
