In a significant diplomatic encounter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with United States Vice President JD Vance on Tuesday, as confirmed by an official White House statement. The dialogue centered on strengthening India's energy diversity with investments in sustainable and reliable US nuclear technology.

Following their discussions, Modi and Vance, accompanied by the Second Lady of the United States, Usha Vance, shared a congenial coffee break. The Indian Prime Minister took the opportunity to extend warm cultural gestures by gifting the Vance children and offering birthday wishes to the Vice President's son, Vivek.

Expressing his appreciation, Vice President Vance highlighted the gracious nature of PM Modi and the joy his family experienced from the thoughtful gifts. Modi announced on social media his anticipation for an upcoming official visit to the US on February 12-13, marking his first meeting with President Donald Trump in his second term.
