Blue Jackets activate C Dubinsky from IR

The Columbus Blue Jackets activated veteran center Brandon Dubinsky off injured reserve on Thursday.

Dubinsky, 32, missed four games with a strained hamstring.

The Anchorage, Alaska, native has four goals and six assists in 32 games this season, his seventh season with Columbus. He ranks second on the team in faceoff percentage (53.4), third in penalty minutes (34) and fourth in hits (73).

He played his first six seasons with the New York Rangers (2006-12) and has accumulated 434 points (151 goals, 283 assists) in 794 career games.

The Blue Jackets return to action Friday night when they host the Montreal Canadiens.
