On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted India's rise as a global leader, underlining the urgent need for world-class leaders to maintain this momentum across various sectors. Speaking at the inaugural session of the School of Ultimate Leadership (SOUL) Leadership Conclave in Delhi, Modi emphasized the importance of cultivating energetic leaders who can navigate global challenges while prioritizing national interests.
Modi drew a parallel between India's historic freedom struggle and the current need for leadership development. He noted how that period fostered leaders across diverse fields, urging the audience to rekindle that same spirit in today's context. Highlighting SOUL's role, he called its establishment a pivotal move towards a developed India, or 'Viksit Bharat,' by preparing leaders for the future.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that SOUL, with its new campus nearing completion near the GIFT City, would become a benchmark for leadership development.
