Nepal's Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba has embarked on a visit to India, initially for a religious purpose, according to an announcement from Nepal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The minister is set to offer prayers at the sacred Baba Baidyanath Dham in Jharkhand.

Following her religious observance, Deuba is scheduled to participate in the Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi from March 17 to 19, as detailed in a ministry release. This significant event, hosted by India's Ministry of External Affairs, will gather notable global leaders, including numerous Prime Ministers and foreign ministers. Deuba is slated to address the conference as part of her official duties, and she will also undergo a health check-up during her stay.

Amrit Bahadur Rai, Secretary of Nepal's Foreign Ministry, along with other senior officials, bid farewell to Deuba at Tribhuvan International Airport. This visit follows her previous official trip to India last August, where she engaged in comprehensive talks on the Indo-Nepal partnership. The discussions highlighted progress in energy exportation and developments in sports cooperation, further cementing the bilateral ties.
