The Drug Prevention Forum in Abu Dhabi wrapped up its 11-day series of activities for 2025, emphasizing comprehensive efforts to eradicate drug abuse. The Ministry of Interior, supported by the Anti-Narcotics Council and Abu Dhabi Police, spearheaded the event under the theme 'A Conscious Family... A Safe Society.'

Attendees, including youth, parents, and experts from various sectors, engaged in 320 discussion sessions and 920 mental health and family support sessions. The forum produced 33 awareness podcasts and issued 8,800 participation certificates, spotlighting family roles in prevention and effective communication.

Prominent initiatives included the 'Mukafih' platform for early addiction intervention and the 'Opportunity of Hope' by Abu Dhabi Police to aid addicts confidentially. The forum demonstrated the UAE's united front with government and community institutions to combat drug issues, reinforced by innovative tech and participatory activities.
