Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced he'll join an inter-ministerial panel at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The panel, titled "Capital in Action: Scaling Energy Systems Through Policy, Finance & Regional Leadership," features high-profile participants, including a former Slovakian finance minister and global business leaders, discussing policy and finance strategies to strengthen energy systems.

Soren, en route to the event, emphasized his aim to establish Jharkhand as a significant player in energy security. Accompanying him, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leader Kalpana Murmu will participate in a panel on "Women Entrepreneurship: Driving Growth and Building a Sustainable Economy," aiming to showcase Jharkhand's potential as a leading global state.

Prior to Davos, Soren briefed Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Jharkhand's preparations for the World Economic Forum Summit, underscoring opportunities in critical minerals and electronics manufacturing. As part of India’s collaborative spirit, Soren expressed optimism for Jharkhand's role in advancing initiatives aligned with national goals at the global forum.
