Third largest rice exporter Vietnam to buy 200K tonnes amid falling domestic price

The Vietnam government will buy 200,000 tonnes of rice from local farmers for stockpiling, it said on Tuesday, amid falling domestic prices.
Paddy price in the Southeast Asian country, the world's third-largest rice exporter, have fallen by 25-30 per cent since the start of this year, according to traders.
