Prime Minister Narendra Modi held extensive talks with Norwegian business titans during the India-Norway Business and Research Summit on Monday. This high-profile engagement aimed to strengthen economic links with Norway, highlighting India's role as a pivotal partner in sectors spanning energy and healthcare technology.

Norwegian giants like Equinor and Yara International joined the summit, representing their prowess in fields such as offshore wind and green ammonia. Discussions centered on doubling bilateral trade by 2030 and fostering collaborations in blue economy initiatives, digital innovation, and sustainable development.

In bilateral talks with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, both leaders reiterated their commitment to a Green Strategic Partnership. They explored avenues for future cooperation in space technology, polar research, and cybersecurity, with an aim to elevate bilateral relations and drive forward the agenda of sustainable economic growth.
