Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper on Thursday, emphasizing the strengthened India-UK partnership that has facilitated unmatched growth prospects for both nations. A notable focus of their discourse was the mutually beneficial vision outlined in the 'India-UK Vision 2035'.

The discussions aimed at tackling significant international matters such as trade, energy, and economic security, amid global supply chain disruptions, were lauded by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar as fostering economic ambitions and high technology collaboration.

A pivotal outcome was the launch of the ‘India-UK Critical Minerals Global Supply Chain Observatory’ in New Delhi, a collaborative effort to bolster critical mineral supply chain security. This initiative, developed with TEXMiN, IIT Dhanbad, and the University of Cambridge, seeks to equip industry leaders and policymakers with vital insights for informed decision-making.
