Germany's Merz: government to propose EU measures on trade with China

​German Chancellor ‌Friedrich Merz said ​on Wednesday ‌that he had asked federal ministers to ‌work on proposals to address ‌imbalances in the trade between the European ⁠Union ​and ⁠China.

Speaking at a press ⁠conference after a ​cabinet meeting of his coalition ⁠government, he also ⁠said ​Berlin was targeting economic growth of ⁠more than 1% next ⁠year.
