NATO Baltic air policing mission activates fighters, Latvian Armed Forces says on X

​The ​NATO ‌Baltic air policing ​mission has activated ‌jet fighters, Latvian Armed Forces said on X, after ‌earlier issuing a ‌warning of a possible air threat ⁠in Latvia's ​airspace ⁠near the town of ⁠Ludza, close to the ​Russian border.

Separately, Russia's northwestern ⁠Leningrad region issued a drone ⁠threat ​alert, according to a ⁠Telegram statement by the Governor ⁠Alexander ⁠Drozdenko.
