US Energy chief to sign deal with private entity in Venezuela on Wednesday, US official says

​U.S. Energy ‌Secretary Chris Wright ​will travel to ‌Venezuela to sign an agreement with a private ‌entity on Wednesday, a ‌U.S. official said on Tuesday, adding that Chevron ⁠is ​set ⁠to announce expanding operations ⁠in the Latin American country.

The ​next phase of talks ⁠regarding transition in ⁠Venezuela will ​resume in mid-September, the official ⁠added.
