VDA's Mueller says EU has WTO-compliant tools to counter market distortions

​VDA ​President ‌Hildegard Mueller ​said on Thursday ‌that if market distortions arise from ‌conduct that violates World ‌Trade Organization rules, the EU ⁠has WTO-compliant ​instruments ⁠at its disposal ⁠to ensure a ​level playing field.

"Isolationism and ⁠protectionist measures always ⁠carry ​the risk of escalating trade ⁠disputes," Mueller said.
