Xi says he and Trump respect each other, have maintained 'regular' communication

​Chinese ‌President Xi Jinping said ​on Thursday ‌that he and US President Donald Trump respect ‌each other, maintain ‌regular communication and support cooperation in foreign ⁠affairs, ​trade, ⁠finance and law enforcement.

China's door ⁠was open and ​it welcomed US firms ⁠to invest there, Xi ⁠said ​on Thursday during his ⁠visit to Washington.
