U.S. diesel export ban seems unlikely, Irish minister says

The U.S. ‌seems unlikely to move toward an export ‌ban on diesel, Irish Energy Minister Darragh O'Brien said ‌on Tuesday. Based on information ‌he received during a trip to the U.S. last week, the minister said there seemed to be no push towards such a ban.

O'Brien said EU member states should remain vigilant and prepared with reserves, however, as such a ban would have significant impact on the EU market.
