Emergency power cuts introduced in Kyiv, energy provider DTEK says

​Emergency ‌power cuts ​were introduced ‌in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, private ‌energy provider DTEK ‌said on Thursday.

The company said ⁠in ​a ⁠statement that it ⁠was acting on ​orders from national grid ⁠operator Ukrenergo. ⁠Russia ​has been attacking Ukraine's power ⁠grid with ⁠air strikes.
