Kremlin says Oleshky ceasefire holding so far

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov ‌said on Tuesday that no ceasefire ‌violations had been recorded so far around the Russian-controlled ‌Ukrainian town of Oleshky, where ‌Moscow and Kyiv have agreed to hold fire to allow a humanitarian operation to begin.

The ceasefire came into effect earlier on Tuesday to enable aid deliveries as well as evacuations from the frontline town in southern Ukraine, which is grappling with acute shortages of food and medicine.
