FTC, states sue Toast over fees, deceptive subscription practices

​The ​US ‌Federal Trade ​Commission, attorneys ‌general from several states and two ‌California jurisdictions sued restaurant ‌software firm Toast Inc. on ⁠Wednesday, ​alleging ⁠it charges hidden fees, ⁠pushes unwanted add-ons, ​and makes its ⁠services difficult to ⁠cancel, the ​FTC said in ⁠a statement.
