Kremlin says resuming Russian gas transit via Ukraine impossible for now

The ​Kremlin ​said ‌on Monday that ​it would not be ‌possible to resume gas sales to Europe via Ukraine for ‌now given the ‌situation on the ground.

Asked to comment on a ⁠Wall ​Street ⁠Journal report that the US is ⁠pushing for a resumption ​of Russian gas supplies to ⁠Europe across Ukrainian territory, Kremlin ⁠spokesman ​Dmitry Peskov told reporters such plans would ⁠be impossible to implement ⁠at ⁠the moment.
