Ecopetrol plans to restore Colombia-Venezuela gas pipeline

Colombia's ​Ecopetrol plans to rehabilitate the ‌Antonio Ricaurte binational ​gas pipeline connecting with Venezuela, it said on Wednesday, after years of inactivity. The state-run ‌energy company also said in a statement that it aims to expand its natural gas supply options, as the Andean country faces a widening domestic ‌deficit.
