Golden State Warriors All-Star Kevin Durant will not play Saturday night on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder because of an ankle injury. Coach Steve Kerr told ESPN that Durant "most likely" would return for Monday night's game at San Antonio.
It will be the second straight game Durant has missed. He sat out Wednesday night's win at Houston after injuring his right ankle on Monday in a loss to Phoenix. Durant, 30, played nine seasons for Seattle/Oklahoma City before signing with the Warriors as a free agent in 2016. He is averaging 27.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game this season.
