CORRECTED-Magnitude 6.4 earthquake hits Papua New Guinea - Pacific Tsunami Warning Center

A magnitude 6.4 earthquake hit Papua New Guinea's New Britain island, 186 km (115 miles) east of Kandrian, on Saturday, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.

The quake struck at 1130 GMT at a depth of 33 km, the Center added. (Writing by Andrew Heavens)
