Russian military claims Syria militants rocketed airbase

The Russian defence ministry said Syrian militants rocketed Russia's Hmeimim airbase near Syria's coastal city of Latakia twice on Monday.

There were no casualties and no damage at the military base, and air defence forces repelled the attack, the ministry said on its website.
