Ukraine prez position matches with IMF, expects money after snap election

Ukraine expects to receive an aid tranche from the International Monetary Fund after a snap parliamentary election in July, top presidential official Oleksandr Danylyuk said on Tuesday.

Danylyuk also said the president's position and the IMF's position "match completely" and that they agreed to start discussions on a new programme.

Danylyuk was speaking after President Volodymyr Zelenskiy met IMF officials for the first time since his inauguration last week.
