Man who set himself on fire near White House has died - officials

A man who set himself on fire near the White House has died of his injuries, the U.S. Park Police said on Thursday.

The man was taken to the hospital on Wednesday after the incident, which took place in an area popular with tourists, and died later that night, the Park Police said.
