Sudanese officers detained in connection with dispersal of sit-in - military council

Sudan's military rulers said on Thursday that some officers had been arrested for their involvement in the deadly dispersal of a protest sit-in in Khartoum.

An investigation into the storming of the sit-in had concluded and the results would be announced on Saturday, the military council said.
