Suspected gas explosion in Vienna causes partial building collapse -police

A presumed gas explosion in Vienna has caused the partial collapse of several floors of up to two buildings, police said in a statement on Wednesday.

A fire brigade spokesman said there were several injuries and there was a crater in the front of a building in the fourth district of the Austrian capital, bordering the city centre. No further details were immediately available.
