The Boston Celtics reportedly extended qualifying offers to guard Terry Rozier and centre Daniel Theis, making both players restricted free agents. Both players provided depth off the bench along with occasional starts last season. The Celtics finished 49-33 during the regular season but lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the playoffs.

Rozier, 25, averaged 9.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 79 games (14 starts) last season. He has spent his first four years with the Celtics. Theis, 27, tallied 5.7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in 66 contests (two starts). He has played the past two seasons with Boston.

Rozier and Theis may sign a free-agent deal with another team, but the Celtics have the right to match the offer because of the players' restricted status. --Field Level Media
