U.S. air strikes on Afghan drug labs unlawful, caused civilian casualties: UN

U.S. airstrikes on alleged Taliban drug labs in western Afghanistan in May caused at least 39 civilian casualties, including 14 children, and the facilities were not lawful targets, a United Nations report said on Wednesday.

U.S. forces have said there were no casualties.
